Catch her dream photos . Gul Panag has led a nomadic existence as a child since her father was in the Army. Currently, her father is the Army Commander, Central Command. Gul has a younger brother Sherbir. Her brother Sherbir is a Skeet shooter and has earned himself a national ranking.
Her brother has also studied at Gul's Alma Mater The Lawrence School, Lovedale.Gul had her earlier education at Sangrur, in Punjab and later changed more than 14 schools, which include various Kendriya Vidyalas, located at Chandigarh, Mhow, Leh, and Wellington. The Lawrence School Lovedale, Ooty and the International School Of Lusaka, Zambia are some of the prestigious schools at which she studied. Post-school, she obtained her Bachelors degree in Mathematics from Punjab University. Later she went on to do her Masters in Political Science from Punjab University, Chandigarh.Gul Panag was crowned Miss India in 1999. Before that she won the Colgate Miss Beautiful Smile contest.
