Nargis Fakhri, a half Kashmiri-half Czech model, is going to work in Imtiaz Ali’s next movie, Rockstar. Fakhri will be paired up with Ranbir Kapoor. Already, Fakhri appeared as a model on the 2009 Kingfisher Swimsuit edition.
Twenty one year old Fakhri grew up in New York. She had never been to Pakistan and she knows about India by watching Bollywood movies. Her mother wanted her to pursue a career in fine arts but one of her friends persuaded her to get into modeling. According to Fakhri, her “mixed-culture percentage” gives her an exotic look. Like Deepika Padukone, Fakhri has long legs and beautiful brown hair.
